A part of the district Sportpark (Breda East) borders the Wilhelminapark with its attractive Wilhelmina pond. This area does not have many shopping facilities, but its location is very close to neighbourhoods with many shops and the centre of the city Breda. A large part of the neighbourhood Sportpark is occupied by the ‘Trip van Zoudtlandtkazerne’ (barracks). This part is mostly composed of low buildings, however there are a few low flat blocks. On the area of the formerly paint factory ‘Wagemakers / Teolin’ beautiful new houses have been constructed with some elements that remind one of the 30s.
