Description of neighbourhood: West - Princenhage

Princenhage (Breda West) has an old village centre. At the village place (Haagsemarkt) there is amongst others a partially medieval village church, a pump of stone (1769) and the previous town hall (1792). Until the municipal repartition in 1942, Princenhage was an independent village. It was then added to the municipality of Breda. The centre of the village is surrounded by areas that have been newly constructed. Princenhage is a peaceful and socially strong neighbourhood with animated associations and many shopping facilities. Princenhage is the second largest district of Breda with 8.000 inhabitants.

TV stations like TMF/MTV and Radio538 are listened to very often, so they stay informed on nowadays smashing hits!
