Description of neighbourhood: Prinsenbeek - Prinsenbeek
The former village of Prinsenbeek ( Breda North-West) belongs since 1997 to the municipality of Breda. The centre of the village is situated around a market that has been entirely renovated a few years ago. Here you can find different shops, hotels and catering, schools and a library. Prinsenbeek looks like a commuters village as well as a traditional village with a lot of horticulture. Nearly all houses are low constructions. It is only at a few places that you will find constructions of middle height. Prinsenbeek has many animated associations. You will find amongst others: tennis club, hockey club, golf club, soccer club and different gyms. Further there is a primary schools and different child day care centres. Prinsenbeek is easily accessible by the highway A16 and it has its own train station. About 11.400 residents live in Prinsenbeek.
