District description: North - Belcrum

The pre-war neighborhood Belcrum (Breda Noord) is located just outside the canal on the north side of Breda. It is one of the best preserved 1930s neighborhoods in Breda. It is a quiet neighborhood with few problems. A neighborhood where people usually stay for a long time. The Belcrum is very popular with transferees from their own neighbourhood, which says a lot about the satisfaction with the living climate. 60% of the housing stock consists of decent, pre-war single-family homes and only 20% of social housing. Doorbos-Linie (Breda Noord) is a combination of two sub-neighbourhoods; Doornbos and Line. Doornbos is a spacious neighborhood and Linie is somewhat smaller, but has the Liniepark as a green area. In this neighborhood you will find many single-family homes and some low-rise 'apartment buildings'. There are two small shopping centers on site. The residents appreciate the living climate and the conviviality in their neighbourhood. Doornbos-Linie has approximately 3,900 inhabitants.

Description district: North - Biesdonk

Biesdonk (Breda North) is one of the largest neighborhoods in the North region. Here you will find many single-family homes, but also some apartment buildings. The residents appreciate the greenery, the peace and quiet, conviviality and the facilities; such as the spacious shopping center 'Hoge Vught'. The average age of the residents is higher than in the rest of Breda. There are about 4900 inhabitants.

Wisselaar (Breda Noord) is a green neighborhood on the edge of the city. The district is characterized by a succession of long rows of sunny houses surrounded by lots of greenery.
