District description: East - Brabant park

Brabantpark (Breda East) was built in the 1940s and 1950s. It is a varied residential area with many educational facilities. This district consists of two parts with a completely different atmosphere. To the west of the Beverweg is a spacious residential area with lots of greenery and to the east of it you will find a residential area with many low-rise buildings and some flats. It is a mostly underrated part of the city. Brabantpark has two smaller shopping centers and a larger center. The Brabantplein was renovated somewhat in 2005, but lacks a special appearance. There is a 'park' in the middle of Brabant Park. There are two churches and next to it is a large sports field and two small playgrounds. Ample hiking trails run along the field and the pond. Between the houses there are many lawns and children's playgrounds. With more than 9,300 inhabitants, Brabantpark is the largest neighborhood in Breda.

District description: East - Sports Park

Part of the Sportpark district (Breda East) borders the Wilhelminapark with the atmospheric Wilhelmina pond. This district does not have a lot of shopping facilities, but is very conveniently located with regard to shopping neighborhoods or the center of the city of Breda. Sportpark' is occupied by the grounds of the 'Trip van Zoudtlandtkazerne'. This district mostly consists of low-rise buildings, but there are still a reasonable number of low-rise flats. On the site of the former paint factory 'Wagemakers / Teolin', beautiful new-build homes have been realized with a '30s look'. The Sportpark district has approximately 3,200 inhabitants.

District description: East - Zandberg

The Zandberg district (Breda East) was created in the 1930s and has grown into an attractive, Burgundian residential area. This neighborhood is very conveniently located. On one side it borders the atmospheric Wilhelmina Park with the Wilhelmina pond. On the other side it borders on the shopping-rich and pleasant Ginnekenweg. The district is also a short distance from atmospheric Ginneken and the city center of Breda. This district can be divided into three parts: a villa area, middle-class homes and an urban renewal area. New houses have been built on the former monastery site. Zandberg has more than 5,200 inhabitants.

Description district: East - Heusdenhout

Heusdenhout (Breda East) is a spacious residential area in the eastern part of Breda. About half of the housing stock consists of social rental housing and 33% consists of owner-occupied housing. A relatively small part of Heusdenhout has detached houses. In addition, there is a relatively large number of low-rise buildings and a number of flats. Heusdenhout is a green neighborhood with a relatively large playing surface for children. Community house 'De Kapelhof' on Heusdenhoutseweg houses many associations. There is also a nursery. There is a shopping center in Heusdenhout. This neighborhood has approximately 5,400 inhabitants.
