With the banks of the Aa or Weerijs along the Weerijssingel, the green space along the Amstelstraat and some rows of trees along and between several main roads, the main green elements have been mentioned. The main shopping facilities are located on Haagweg and Nieuwe Haagdijk. Furthermore, the residents in this neighborhood rely on facilities in the Tuinzicht district and the Lunet shopping center (corner Weerijssingel and Lunetstraat). Haagpoort has more than 2,100 inhabitants.
